Birthday month officially kicked off tonight, a week earlier than normal, while at dinner at Las Casuelas with our great friends Jeff and Kelly. Jeff and Kevin share the same birthday (albeit separated by a few years) on October 21st, and since Las Casuelas celebrates in such a fun way, we decided to start the festivities early. Next up, Austin and Julia on the 19th, followed by Kevin(again) on the 21st and Andy on the 22nd. Pray for stamina for me! LOL! Happy Birthday Dos Panchos!

Welcome to our family blog! Life is crazy and get's more so by the minute. Our twins, Austin and Julia were born in October 2000 when I was 35 and Kevin was 33, and Andy, our youngest, came along 2 years and 3 days later. I thought that when our kids were small and we has all 3 in diapers at the same time for over a year that we had met and conquered our biggest challenge. HA! If there is one thing we've learned it is that when we say so long to one particularly difficult season of parenting, an even more difficult one replaces it!

Our kids are high energy, creative, entertaining and smart little suckers.... Are we doing a good job raising them? Who knows...but we love them to death and while they give us a run for our money every day of the week, they still head out the door successfully mastering the art of being acceptable to society. So far, so good!

Of course we don't attempt to do it alone, and give God all the glory for the interesting little persons he has created and give thanks that he chose us to be their caretakers. Well, most days. On occassion we do question what he was thinking...
